Boop, The First Entry

Heyo, I guess this is the first blog I'm writing. Never did it before. Like sure, if you count social media as a (kind of, but more micro) blog, I did. But otherwise... not really. I always wanted to try it out, but I was either too scared or depression punched me in the face once again. I feel comfortable enough at the moment, so I'll just try it out.
To maybe start with something specific: Why did I make this website and not stick to social media like everyone else? It's pretty easy to answer, honestly. ...Almost too easy.
Social media fucking sucks.
Having to post daily to get somewhere, having to do specific things and censor yourself and many other reasons make it so... unattractive to use. But also addictive in a sense. I felt both with this, to the point where I had to get ColdTurkey (a program that blocks websites for you, very useful to get started on trying to get away) and disable the Browser and YouTube homepage to actually focus on myself and my projects.
God and don't get me started on the ragebait shit, my recommended vids on YouTube were filled with them. Saying "Don't recommend the channel" just made 5 more pop up.
Since then, I also feel better about myself and being online, it feels more fun again. I can also just put my art on here without caring for numbers. It's been pretty nice. I've also always liked HTML and CSS, so it is also fun to just create my own little place with it.
So yeah, pretty cool, highly recommended.
